Youth held for sodomising 2

Chandigarh, April 19

A 19-year-old drug addict was held for sodomising two minor boys on the roof of his house in Sector 29 on Saturday night. The accused, Ravi, has been remanded in judicial custody.

One of the victims is eight years old while the other one is 13 years old. The parents of the accused were inside the house when the victims were being exploited.

Police sources said a local resident, Jitender, heard the screams of one of the victims and asked him about the reason at around 9 pm. 

The victims are residents of a slum colony located in the Industrial Area, Phase I, and both were roaming on the streets when the accused lured them and took them to the roof of his house. Later, Jitender informed the PCR following which the police reached the spot. The police said the accused was a school dropout and unemployed.

A case has been registered. The police have also slapped the charge of threatening the victims with dire consequences.
