The police have nabbed a youth with 250 gm of opium.
A police team, led by ASI Kartar Singh, had laid a naka on the circular road in the town late on Friday night. The accused, Arun kumar of Ripudamanpura Mohalla, who was on a scooty, was directed to stop. A search of the vehicle led to recovery of 250 gm of opium.
A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused at the Kotwali police station. — TNS
