50 students attend art workshop

Amritsar, May 18

A two-day workshop on 3D Relief Work was organised at DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, Amritsar, in collaboration with Pidilite Industries. It was attended by 50 students of Class XII (fine arts). Rakesh Sen from Pidilite gave the students training on the technique of 3D relief work. The students prepared a painting using the technique and learnt the intricacies of the art during the workshop. The resource person was overwhelmed to see their creativity and praised teachers of the school for putting efforts to groom them.

Regional Director, Punjab Zone-A, Neelam Kamra; manager of the school Rajesh Kumar; Principal, DAV College, Hathi Gate; appreciated the school for providing the students with such opportunities to explore and enhance their skills.

Dr Neera Sharma, principal, DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, thanked the resource person for sharing the art with the students.. She said the art was a skill which must be improved and enhanced with practice. TNS
