Book on former CKD head released

AMRITSAR: The Chief Khalsa Diwan (CKD) authorities today released a book ‘Lok Nayak Sardar Kirpal Singh: Apne Samay Da Yodha’ highlighting various aspects of their former president Kirpal Singh here at the auditorium of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public Senior Secondary School on GT Road.

The Chief Khalsa Diwan (CKD) authorities today released a book ‘Lok Nayak Sardar Kirpal Singh: Apne Samay Da Yodha’ highlighting various aspects of their former president Kirpal Singh here at the auditorium of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public Senior Secondary School on GT Road.

The book release ceremony was held in the presence of Dr Iqbal Kaur, resident president Nirmal Singh, CKD officiating head Dhanraj Singh and various other Sikh scholars. The book has been edited by Sarabjit Singh, son of Kirpal Singh, along with principal Savinder Singh Chahal. Sarabjit Singh said, “The book is about him. The book has details since his birth to his role in organising various camps in Indo-Pak war in 1962 and 1965.”
