Members of the Chief Khalsa Diwan Jatha shared their serene and divine experience on their return from Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazoor Sahib yesterday.

While briefing on the four-day pilgrimage, the Chief Khalsa Diwan (CKD) president, Charanjit Singh Chadha said they were blessed to witness sewa at Takht Sri Hazoor Sahib at 3 am amidst Naam Simran with the holy water carried from Godavari.

After Ardas and Hukamnama, they also got an opportunity to acknowledge the comprehensive history of artifacts and weapons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh preserved at the gurdwara. Guru ka langar was served twice by the CKD at Takht Sri Hazoor Sahib. Afterwards, members of the jatha also paid obeisance at Gurdwara Shikar Ghat Sahib, Gurdwara Nagina Ghat Sahib, Gurdwara Sangat Sahib, Gurdwara Hira Ghat Sahib, Mata Sahib Devaan and at Dera Baba Nidhan Singh.

“All these shrines have clean surrounding and comfortable lodgings for devotees,” said Chadha.

A discussion on forthcoming CKD projects was also held in a meeting organised at Sachkhand Sri Hazoor Sahib. Ardas was offered by Jathedar Bhai Ram Singh for seeking prosperity of the CKD.

The CKD vice-president, Inderpreet Singh, honorary secretary Narinder Singh Khurana, joint secretary Harjit Singh and additional secretary were also present in the meeting.
