Expressing concern over the rising sexual violence across the country, Damdami Taksal head Harnam Singh Khalsa has said that the Central Government has failed to protect the women.
“Recurring incidents of indecency with women have instilled a sense of fear among them. The Supreme Court should come forward and give exemplary punishment to the guilty. The rape cases in Kathua and Unnao and are reminders of women being victimised,” he said.
“Such inhuman acts shook the collective conscious of the nation and embarrass the humanity. Daughters of the country must get justice at any cost,” he said.
