The district Health Department organised an event under Poshan Abhiyan at Jallianwala Bagh Martyrs Memorial Civil hospital here on Thursday. Presiding over the event, Civil Surgeon Dr Hardeep Singh Ghai said malnutrition among children and pregnant women was a reason to worry. Lactating mothers should also have a nutritious and balanced diet, he added.
Senior Medical Officer Dr Charanjit Singh stressed the need for physical activity along with proper diet for good health.
