A Hindi play, ‘Rishtey-the journey of life’, was staged on the second day of the ongoing five-day theatre festival, ‘Panj Roza Rang Utsav’, at Virsa Vihar.
The festival is being organised by the Virsa Vihar authorities, in collaboration with the Punjab Sangeet Natak Academy, Chandigarh.
The festival is being held from December 7 till December 11 at the Karatar Singh Duggal Auditorium. The Hindi play depicted the relationship between parents and children.
The play highlights the sorrows, pain, and despair one has to face due to neglect at the hands of their children. The play has been directed and written by Sukh Bahadhur. As the story moves ahead, it narrates the children being consumed in their own lives and neglecting the needs of their parents.
The play was presented by artistes such as Jeevan Kumari, Baljit Singh, Sahil Kumar, Balwinder Singh and others.
