New office-bearers of CII Amritsar zonal council

AMRITSAR: Sachin Khanna, executive director, Amritsar Swadeshi Woollen Mills Private Limited, and Ajay Khanna, partner, Omkar Textile Mills, have been elected chairman and vice-chairman, respectively, of the CII Amritsar Zonal Council for 2017-18.

Sachin Khanna, executive director, Amritsar Swadeshi Woollen Mills Private Limited, and Ajay Khanna, partner, Omkar Textile Mills, have been elected chairman and vice-chairman, respectively, of the CII Amritsar Zonal Council for 2017-18.

Khanna did his bachelors from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics in 1995. He has also done diploma in textile technology and management. He has been associated with the CII for the past several years.

Before taking over as the chairman of the CII Amritsar Zonal Council he was its vice-chairman in 2016-17.

Ajay Khanna, started his own enterprise Omkar Textile Mills soon after completing graduation. It is a sister concern of Ujwal Surfactants and exports its products to the Middle East and Pakistan.
