Defence Research Development Organisation (DRDO) Chief Scientist, S Guru Prasad, announced that in addition to defence personnel, DRDO’s innovations will now be meant for common people too.
Addressing the industrialists during a seminar on ‘Transfer of Technology to Industry’ as a part of undergoing Punjab International Trade Exhibition (PITEX) here today, he said these innovations would make life of people convenient.
Elaborating that the DRDO had developed as many as 142 innovations in its laboratory which were used for benefit of defence personnel, he said these were meant for making combatant more lethal in the battle fields and overcome difficulties faced by them while commuting in rough terrain.— TNS
