Odisha were all out at 155 for 65.4 overs on the first day of the four-day Cooch Behar Trophy (under-19), which commenced here today.

After winning the toss, Raghunath Malla decided to bat first. Swastik Samal, Kunal Mallick and Jyoti R Behera were only meaningful scorers with 29, 26 and 34 runs, respectively. Manas Ranjan Nayak (4), Raghunath Malla (1), Aakash Chandra Nayak (4), Pritam Jena (11), Krishna Palai (0), Rajesh Mohanty (13), Shekhar Majhi (8) and Biswajit Mallick (0) lost their wickets cheaply.

For the home state, Rahul Kashyap and Rohit Kumar took three wickets each. Rahul bowled 17 overs with nine maidens and gave 19 runs and Rohit bowled 14.4 overs, giving 41 runs and five of them being maiden. Prerit Dutta took two wickets and Mandeep Singh scalped one.

Chasing the total, Punjab were 82 for no loss in 24 overs. Openers Jagmeet Singh and Arjun Verma were playing at 44 and 34 runs, respectively.
