Seminar for lawyers tomorrow

AMRITSAR: In a joint initiative, the Bar Council of India and Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana will organise a seminar-cum-workshop on professional development programme for lawyers at Dashmesh Auditorium, Guru Nanak Dev University, on February 18. Justice Mahesh Grover from Punjab and Haryana High Court will be the chief guest.

Amritsar: In a joint initiative, the Bar Council of India and Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana will organise a seminar-cum-workshop on professional development programme for lawyers at Dashmesh Auditorium, Guru Nanak Dev University, on February 18. Justice Mahesh Grover from Punjab and Haryana High Court will be the chief guest. Manan Kumar Mishra, senior advocate and chairman of the Bar Council of India, Baldev Raj Mahajan, Advocate General, Haryana, and Atul Nanda, Advocate General, Punjab, would be the guest of honour. DAV students get jobs 

As many as 26 students of DAV College have been offered jobs by ICICI Prudential Life Insurance. The firm was invited by the college for a placement drive in which around 359 students from the various streams participated. The drive was conducted by Ravneet Kaur and Amit Singla, senior manager and manager, respectively of the firm’s human resource wing. TNS
