Police Commissioner G Nageshwara Rao today placed an SHO under suspension.
Rameshwar Singh, who was posted as SHO, Sultanwind police station, has been shifted to the Police Lines with an immediate effect.
A senior police official said a video of the SHO in which he was getting his shoulders massaged by the complainant went viral on YouTube. A couple was also standing nearby filing some complaint at that time.
DCP Daljinder Singh said an investigation had been initiated in this regard.
A complainant had reached the police station for submitting a complaint. However, he asked him to get his shoulders massaged. The incident was captured in a mobile phone by a person. When the video reached the Police Commissioner, he suspended Rameshwar. — TNS
