11 booked in three cases of assault

BATHINDA: The police have booked 11 persons in three cases of assault at different police stations in the last 24 hours.



Bathinda, June 20

The police have booked 11 persons in three cases of assault at different police stations in the last 24 hours. In the first case, Ravi Shankar, a resident of Ganesha Basti, lodged a complaint at the Civil Lines police station.

He has stated that Dara Singh and Mohinder Singh, residents of the same locality, had assaulted him over a property dispute. The Police have booked the accused under Sections of 324 and 34 of the IPC.

In the second case, Pritpal Singh, a resident of Bhucho Kalan, has lodged a complaint at the Nathana police station.

He has stated that Sukar Singh, Jeet Singh, Lavepreet Singh and Harsharan Singh, residents of Bhucho Kalan, had assaulted him over some old dispute. The Police have booked the accused under Sections 324, 323 and 34 of the IPC.

In a complaint lodged by Balkaran Singh, a resident a Baandi village, it has been stated that Baghi Singh, Kulwinder Singh, Jagga Singh, Balkaran Singh and Kala Singh, residents of Baandi village, assaulted him over some old dispute.

The police have booked the accused under Sections of 341, 323, 506, 148 and 149 of the IPC. No arrest has been made in all three cases. — TNS
