2.5-yr-old girl found in cradle

BATHINDA: A 2.5-year-old girl child was found in the cradle (panghura) installed outside the Mahant Gurbanta Dass School for Deaf and Dumb on Wednesday morning.

Bathinda, June 13

A 2.5-year-old girl child was found in the cradle (panghura) installed outside the Mahant Gurbanta Dass School for Deaf and Dumb on Wednesday morning.

Officials of the District Child Security Office admitted the girl to the Civil Hospital for medical examination and also informed the Thermal police station.

During her check-up, it was found that the girl was mentally challenged and unable to walk on her own. The girl was then shifted to Shri Anant Anath Ashram Special Adoption Agency, Nathana.
