20 students get jobs during placement drive

BATHINDA: The Baba Farid Groups of Institution (BFGI) organised a placement drive for its MBA and BSc (Agriculture) students here today.

The Baba Farid Groups of Institution (BFGI) organised a placement drive for its MBA and BSc (Agriculture) students here today.

Cargill Private Limited has hired 20 students of the institution during the drive.

Cargill Private Limited was founded in 1865 and has 150,000 employees in 70 countries with annual revenues in excess of $119 billion. It deals with agriculture, financial and industrial products.

Officials of the company conducted a personal interview after a group discussion round. The officials were impressed with the updated knowledge of the students about the latest corporate trends. The students were selected on the basis of their technical and communication skills.

As many as 14 students of BSc (Agriculture) and six MBA students were offered jobs.

Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, chairman, BFGI, congratulated the students and their parents for their success.

Expressing his happiness, he said, “The credit of this success goes to the students as well as their teachers who are continuously working hard for them.”
