4 booked for kidnapping elderly

BATHINDA: The police have booked four persons for kidnapping a man.



Bathinda, May 29

The police have booked four persons for kidnapping a man. In his complaint lodged with the police, Budh Singh said on May 25, his maternal grandfather Balbir Singh of Buggar village had gone to Muddki village.

One of the accused Santokh Singh, who accompanied Balbir Singh to Muddki, demanded Rs 5 lakh to release the elderly.

A police complaint was filed following which a case under Sections 484, 385, 506, 342 and 120-B of the IPC has been registered in this connection at the Sadar Rampura police station. No arrest has been made so far. — TNS
