BATHINDA: As the schedule for the Assembly elections has been announced in the state by the Election Commission of India, candidates are leaving no stone unturned to woo voters.

As the schedule for the Assembly elections has been announced in the state by the Election Commission of India, candidates are leaving no stone unturned to woo voters.

Deepak Bansal, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from the Bathinda (Urban) constituency, has also started his campaign in the city. Asking for the change, Deepak Bansal going door to door to interact with locals and today he campaigned at the Bhatti road area.

During an interaction with voters, the AAP candidate sought votes by saying that the party would restore the ‘collapsed’ system after forming the government.

He also said, “This times voters should vote for a change and only the AAP can provide better governance than traditional parties, SAD and Congress. Both parties have failed to do anything for the welfare of the people. Our party has given tickets to educated and honets candidates.”

While talking to Bathinda Tribune, Deepak Bansal said, “The issues which will be addressed on priority after forming the government are corruption, drugs, unemployment, waterlogging and deteriorating law and order situation.”

Satyendra Jain reaches city for campaigning

AAP leader and Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Kumar Jain also reached Bathinda on Monday night to campaign for Deepak Bansal.

Jain met traders of the city and listened to their problems. He assured the traders that their problems would be solved at the earliest after forming the government in the state. Speaking on solid waste management plant, Jain said the plant would be shifted from its existing location.

While addressing a gathering, the Delhi Health Minister said, “The AAP government will change the face of the state as you have seen the work of the Delhi government. Replicating the Delhi model, we will open mohalla clinics in the state.”

Jain claimed, “Water tariff will also be reduced in the state. The AAP will also focus on upgrade of government school on the pattern of private schools.”

Baljinder Kaur holds roadshow

AAP candidate from Talwandi Sabo and state women’s wing president Baljinder Kaur today took out a roadshow in various villages of her constituency.

A large number of party workers gathered outside the party office on the Bathinda road in Talwandi Sabo. The roadshow passed through Khande Wala Chowk, Main Market, Malkana village, Gattawali village, Giana village, Rama village, Rama town, Bagha village, Shekhu village, Pakka Khurd village and ended at Pakka Kalan village.

While talking to mediapersons, Baljinder Kaur said a huge gathering during the roadshow was a clear indication that the result of the upcoming Assembly elections would be surprising and the AAP would form the government with full majority.
