BFSS School students celebrate Diwali

BATHINDA: On the occasion of Diwali, various competitions like diya making, greeting card making and rangoli making were organised at Baba Farid Senior Secondary School.

On the occasion of Diwali, various competitions like diya making, greeting card making and rangoli making were organised at Baba Farid Senior Secondary School. Many students participated in these competitions while most of the girls participated in diya making and rangoli making competition.

They showed their skills by making beautiful designs, greeting cards which were also very beautifully shaped. In the rangoli-making competition, Komalpreet Kaur and Jasmeen Kaur got the first position, Rajwinder and Romanpreet Kaur second and Samandeep Kaur and Prabhjot Kaur the third position. Similarly, Akashdeep Kaur, Rupinder Kaur and Rukmandeep Kaur got first, second and third positions, respectively, in the card-making competition.

Maninder Aulakh, Jasleen Jajoria and Vikas Kumar Garg got top positions in the diya-making competition. Baljinder Singh, principal, BFSSS, praised all the talented students on having such talent. Dr Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, chairman, Baba Farid Group of Institutions, felicitated the winners and gave best wishes for Diwali to all the students and staff of BFSSS.
