Bike snatched after assault

BATHINDA: Four unidentified persons snatched a motorcycle by hitting a rod on the head of a person, a resident of Burj Dhelwa village near Tittarsar Gurdwara on the Bathinda-Maur road, on Tuesday evening.

Four unidentified persons snatched a motorcycle by hitting a rod on the head of a person, a resident of Burj Dhelwa village near Tittarsar Gurdwara on the Bathinda-Maur road, on Tuesday evening.

The incident took place when the victim was returning to his house after work. After getting information, the Maur police reached the spot and started a probe after registering a case against the accused.

In a complaint lodged by Angrej Singh, on Tuesday evening, after completing his work in fields, he was returning to his house on his motorcycle. When he reached near Tittarsar Gurdwara, four persons came on a motorcycle and attacked with a rod, he said.

They took his motorcycle away. He called his family members and the police control room. — TNS
