BATHINDA: A student of Class IX today stole a double-barrel gun and cartridges of his father and left the home. Interestingly, the father lodged a complaint at the Balianwali police station and the police have booked the boy under Section 380 of the IPC.

A student of Class IX today stole a double-barrel gun and cartridges of his father and left the home. Interestingly, the father lodged a complaint at the Balianwali police station and the police have booked the boy under Section 380 of the IPC.

The accused is absconding and the police are conducting raids to catch him.

In a complaint lodged by Kulwinder Singh, a resident of Mandi Kalan village, it has been stated that his minor son Gurpreet Singh had stolen his double-barrel gun, two cartridges and Rs 700 from his house last night. — TNS
