Bathinda, January 14

The Congress today lodged a complaint against an XEN of the Punjab Mandi Board with the Election Complaint Cell.

Rajan Garg, Manpreet Badal’s election agent, said the XEN of the Punjab Mandi Board was supporting and openly campaigning for the SAD-BJP.

He said the XEN was also verbally directing his staff to support the SAD candidate from the Bathinda (Urban) consistency, Sarup Chand Singla.

Rajan said, “We have demanded strict action against the XEN. He should be transferred with an immediate affect so that he does not influence the voters.”

Rajan said they were keeping a close watch on the poll code violation and was lodging complaints almost on a daily basis. — TNS
