Factory owners, workers pay tributes to Lord Vishwakarma

BATHINDA: Vishwakarma Day was celebrated today by industrial units and workers in various part of the city.

Vishwakarma Day was celebrated today by industrial units and workers in various part of the city. Owners and workers performed Puja and paid tributes to the Lord Vishwakarma.

Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal also participated in a puja conducted at Subhash Market. He said skill training courses conducted across the state by the state government would be a befitting tribute to Lord Vishwakarma.

Another programme was held at Amrik Singh Road by Bathinda Plumber Workers Union. Members offered colourful rice, fruits, sweets and other food items to the deity and distributed these among people. — TNS (Pic P2)
