GNDTP contractual employees hold protest

BATHINDA: On a call given by the Thermal contract workers coordination committee, Punjab, the GNDTP contract workers’ union, Bathinda, today held a protest outside the main gate of Thermal plant in the presence of president Ashwani Kumar.

On a call given by the Thermal contract workers coordination committee, Punjab, the GNDTP contract workers’ union, Bathinda, today held a protest outside the main gate of Thermal plant in the presence of president Ashwani Kumar.

The protest started in the morning and ended in the evening in which families of the workers and other relevant of organisations took active part in this protest.

They raised slogans against the government and the Powercomm management. During the protest Jugroop Singh, Gurvinder Singh, Jagseer Singh Bhangu, TSU President Prakash Singh, federation president Gursewak Singh were, among others, present. — TNS
