Man booked on fraud charge

BATHINDA: The Canal Colony police have booked Satpal Singh, a resident of Malvia Nagar, Bathinda, under Section 420 of the IPC.

The Canal Colony police have booked Satpal Singh, a resident of Malvia Nagar, Bathinda, under Section 420 of the IPC. In a complaint lodged by Roop Chand, a resident of Paras Ram Nagar, Bathinda, it had been stated that Satpal had duped him of Rs 20 lakh in connection with a bank loan. A case has been registered in this regard.
