Medals in boxing c’ship

Bathinda: Students of Police Public School, Bathinda, won a silver medal and two bronze medals at Sansarpur village, Jalandhar Cantonment at the Punjab State Sub-Junior Championship (boxing) which was held recently. Nearly 700 players participated in the championship from across the state. Playing for Royal Deep Boxing Club 7, players of Police Public School performed well in the championship. Ram Singh won a silver medal while Ansh Bobal and Rohit Kumar won bronze medals each. The students were felicitated in the morning assembly by Principal Monika Singh and applauded the performance of coach Narinder Saini. Ram Singh has also been selected for the National Boxing Camp. tns
