Several nail-biting matches were played between the Under-19 girls teams as part of the ongoing handball tournament of the 63rd Punjab State School Games.

The tournament is being organised at St Xaviers’ School, as per the directions of District Education Officer (Secondary) Maninder Kaur and assistant education officer (sports) Gurpreet Singh.

In the quarterfinal matches played on the third day of the tournament, Bathinda beat Ludhiana 11-7, Amritsar beat Kairon wing 11-8, Patiala drubbed Mansa 16-2 and Moga beat Jalandhar 23-16 to enter the semi-finals.
