A person has been booked for illegally entering the house of a Dhobiana Basti resident, along with his associates, and beating up the house owner. The accused took his wife along, as they allegedly had an illicit relationship.

After getting information, a Civil Lines police team reached the spot. They have registered a case against a Sirsa youth and five unidentified persons.

Investigating officer SI Harneik Singh said the police were conducting raids to arrest the accused.

The case has been registered on the basis of the statement of Ameen Sharma.

Sharma has stated that his wife had an illicit relation with Rohit, a resident of Sirsa district.

Earlier too, his wife had left the house with the accused, but she returned after a panchayat compromise, he added. However, she continued to talk to Rohit, Sharma said.
