Police fail to find clue in Rs 5-lakh theft case

BATHINDA: The police have failed to find any clue on the Wednesday night Rs 5 lakh theft incident that took place on Bathinda-Goniana Road near Pukhraj cinema.

The police have failed to find any clue on the Wednesday night Rs 5 lakh theft incident that took place on Bathinda-Goniana Road near Pukhraj cinema.

Two unidentified persons had stolen a bag containing the cash from a Fortuner car (PB-03-AE-0077) of private contractor Vijay Jindal, a resident of Ganesha Basti, of MES after breaking the pane of middle seat. On the other hand, the Civil Lines police have started a probe in this case, but yet to find any clue.

Even after 24 hours of the incident, the police didn’t register any case. On the other hand, DSP city-2 Gurpreet Singh said the police were waiting for the victim’s statement as he didn’t lodge any complaint, so a case was not registered.
