Bathinda, January 16
A person who was injured in a road mishap succumbed to injuries at the PGIMER, Chandigarh, yesterday. The deceased has been identified as Shamsher Singh. Gurmel Singh informed the police that an unidentified vehicle, coming at a rapid speed, hit Shamsher a few days ago.
He said the victim was admitted to the PGIMER where he succumbed to injuries. Police officials at the Nehianwala police station said a case under Section 304-A of the IPC had been registered against an unidentified person. — TNS
