Seven held under NDPS Act in different cases

BATHINDA: The Bathinda police have arrested seven persons in three cases under the NDPS Act.

The Bathinda police have arrested seven persons in three cases under the NDPS Act.

In the first case, the Kotwali police arrested a husband and wife duo with 4.5 kg of poppy husk from the Cotton Market, Bathinda.

They have been identified as Hari Singh and Paramjeet Kaur, residents of Hanumangarh of Rajasthan.

The police also arrested Sandeep Singh, Gurmeet Singh and Gursewak Singh, residents of Faridkot and Yashpal Sharma, a resident of Bajakhana with four bottles of an intoxicant syrup and 40 intoxicant pills from a car on Multania flyover.

The Nehianwala police arrested Darshan Singh, a resident of Barkandhi, with 90 intoxicant pills.
