Students shine in Pbi varsity exam

BATHINDA: Students of Baba Farid College have performed well in B.



Bathinda, February 20

Students of Baba Farid College have performed well in B.Sc. (Agriculture) sixth and tenth semesters in examinations conducted by Punjabi University, Patiala.

A student of sixth semester of BSc (Agriculture-6 Yrs), Manpreet Kaur bagged the first position by obtaining 88 per cent marks. A student of BSc (Agriculture-6 yrs), tenth semester, Sikanderpal Singh has bagged the first position by obtaining 88 per cent marks followed by Sandeep Kaur with 86 per cent marks to bag the second position in the college. According to this result, two students scored above 85 per cent marks, four students scored more than 80 per cent marks, six students scored more than 75 per cent marks and 12 students scored above 70 per cent marks.

Dr Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, chairman, BFGI, congratulated the students on their academic victory. student of sixth semester of BSc (Agriculture-6 yrs), Manpreet Kaur bagged the first position by obtaining 88 per cent marks. A student of BSc (Agriculture), 10th semester, Sikanderpal Singh has bagged the first position by obtaining 88 per cent marks followed by Sandeep Kaur with 86 per cent who bagged the second position in the college. —TNS
