The worth of the stolen material is Rs 1.61 lakh. Investigating officer Hoshiar Singh said, “We received a complaint on Wednesday. We have lodged an FIR and started an investigation. The accused will be held soon.” TNS


Three motorcycles stolen

Bathinda: Three motorcycles have been stolen in the city in the last 24 hours. All incidents have taken place in the high-security zone near the court complex. A case has been registered at the Civil Lines police station. Sahil Kumar, a resident of Talwandi Sabo, has stated in a complaint that unidentified persons had stolen his motorcycle (PB-03AB-6734) near Children’s Park. Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Kamla Nehru Colony, has lodged a complaint stating that unidentified persons had stolen his motorcycle (PB-03V-0677) from near the court complex. In another case, Bohar Singh, a resident of Balluana village, has stated in a complaint that unidentified persons had stolen his motorcycle (PB-03V-2773) from near the court complex. A joint FIR has been registered by the Bathinda police against unidentified persons under Section 379 at the Civil Lines police station. TNS
