Theft at govt school

Bathinda: Thieves stole electronic material from a government school. In a complaint lodged by Gurpal Singh, it has been alleged that unidentified persons had stolen 16 LED lights and computers from Government Senior Secondary School at Bhodipura village on July 6. The worth of the stolen material is Rs 1.61 lakh. Investigating officer Hoshiar Singh said, “We received a complaint on Wednesday. We have lodged an FIR and started an investigation. The accused will be held soon.” TNS

Three motorcycles stolen

Bathinda: Three motorcycles have been stolen in the city in the last 24 hours. All incidents have taken place in the high-security zone near the court complex. A case has been registered at the Civil Lines police station. Sahil Kumar, a resident of Talwandi Sabo, has stated in a complaint that unidentified persons had stolen his motorcycle (PB-03AB-6734) near Children’s Park. Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Kamla Nehru Colony, has lodged a complaint stating that unidentified persons had stolen his motorcycle (PB-03V-0677) from near the court complex. In another case, Bohar Singh, a resident of Balluana village, has stated in a complaint that unidentified persons had stolen his motorcycle (PB-03V-2773) from near the court complex. A joint FIR has been registered by the Bathinda police against unidentified persons under Section 379 at the Civil Lines police station. TNS
