Three of family booked on dowry charge

BATHINDA: The police have registered a case against three persons of an Abohar-based family for demanding dowry.

The police have registered a case against three persons of an Abohar-based family for demanding dowry. In a complaint to the police, Rajveer Kaur, a resident of Bangi Nihalsinghwala village, stated that she was harassed by her husband Bhavneet Singh, mother-in-law Vipinjeet Kaur and father-in-law Prithpal Singh for dowry.

The police have registered a case against the accused under Sections 498A and 406 of the IPC at the Women police station.
