10-yr-old’s rape case: Two docs record statements

Two doctors recorded their statements today in a local court in the 10-year-old girl’s rape case.

Dr Priyanka from the Forensic Science Laboratory, Mohali, and Dr Harmeet Sodhi of the GMSH-16 recorded their statements.

Dr Priyanka had conducted the DNA test of the younger uncle as well as the second DNA test of the elder uncle of the victim. Dr Sodhi had conducted the medical examination of the vicitm’s father.

The next hearing in the case will be held on Monday, when statements of the remaining doctors will be recorded.
