A placement drive at Punjabi University, Patiala, is in full swing with each passing moment. Giving this information, VC BS Ghuman said 183 engineering students of the university pass outs of the 2018 batch have received lucrative job offers from various firms during the current year.
While Infosys has hired 134 students from engineering, MCA and science streams, four computer engineering students secured job offers from TCS through their on-line coding competition. Newgen Technologies made job offers to 17 students, while two students made it to SAP Labs. — TNS
