Lalru, March 29
A 22-year-old youth was killed here on Tuesday after his motorcycle was hit by a Tata Safari from the rear side. The victim has been identified as Zafar Ali, a resident of Batauli village near Lalru.
According to sources, the incident occurred around 9.30 pm when the victim was returning home from Lalru. The victim's motorbike was hit by a rashly-driven Tata Safari repeatedly following which he sustained serious head injuries.
A case has been registered at the Lalru police station.
