CHANDIGARH:City softball players Nimit Kumra, Simrat Singh Gill and Kanwarpreet Singh have been selected for the International Slow Pitch Softball Championship to be held at Thai Polo Club, Pattaya, Thailand, from May 19.

City softball players Nimit Kumra, Simrat Singh Gill and Kanwarpreet Singh have been selected for the International Slow Pitch Softball Championship to be held at Thai Polo Club, Pattaya, Thailand, from May 19. 

Kumra, who is currently working as a coach at Punjab University, along with Gill was a part of the Indian baseball team that won a gold medal in the Presidential Cup held in Iran in 2015.

Gill is a BA third year student at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College, Sector 26, while Kanwarpreet Singh, is a first year BPEd student at Government College, Sector 1, Panchkula.
