The third Biennial National Scientific Conference-cum-CME was inaugurated at Bhargava Auditorium, PGIMER, here on Monday.
The event provided participants with scientific information and resources in all aspects relevant to patient’s care, health promotion and disease prevention.
More than 500 delegates attended the conference. The conference was marked with convergence of main five frontline allied health professionals, including medical laboratory science, radiotherapy, radiology, operation theatre technology and dialysis technology.
The proposed theme of seminar this year is “Educating tomorrow’s healthcare leaders: transferring technology”.
Dr Ajay Kumar, DDG (Medical Education), MH&FW, GoI, New Delhi, inaugurated the function as the chief guest.
Dr Pankaj Kaul, Organising Secretary, AHPCON, said that MBBS/ MD were not suitable for running a clinical pathological establishment independently.
