672 students get placements

MOHALI: In a unique and pioneer initiative in this part of the country by a private educational institution to bring top companies from diverse fields with different salary packages, the Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions (RBGI) organised a placement fortnight during which 672 students got placement offers from different companies.

In a unique and pioneer initiative in this part of the country by a private educational institution to bring top companies from diverse fields with different salary packages, the Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions (RBGI) organised a placement fortnight during which 672 students got placement offers from different companies.

Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, said the objective of the drive was to provide best placement opportunities to young graduates of Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions in MNCs during defined timelines.

The target streams were BTech (all branches), MCA, MBA, polytechnic and a total of 83 companies were invited and there were 1,177 eligible candidates. Selected candidates included BTech -347, MBA-201 Polytechnic and 124 others. The highest package offered for BTech was Rs 27 lakh and for MBA Rs 15 lakh. — TNS
