Additional coach for long-distance trains

CHANDIGARH:An extra coach each has been attached to long-distance trains in order to cope up with a huge rush of passengers during the festive season.

Chandigarh, October 17

An extra coach each has been attached to long-distance trains in order to cope up with a huge rush of passengers during the festive season.

Deputy Station Superintendent Nirmal Singh said an extra coach had been added to all trains heading for Uttar Pradesh, Goa and Kochuveli.

The Gorakhpur Weekly Special Train, which was started on September 7 and halts at Ambala Cantt, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow and Gonda stations, is booked till January while Chandigarh-Goa Sampark Kranti Express is also running full till November.
