Ajay Singh dismissed Manveer Singh in straight sets to win the boys’ U-16 title in the STA-AITA Talent Series (TS-7) Tennis Tournament at the Chandigarh Club, Sector 1, here today.
Ajay won the opening set 4-1 and packed off his opponent 4-0 in the second to win the final.
Gaurav Kumar, meanwhile, registered a similar win over Avish Verma to claim the boys’ U-14 title.
The girls’ U-14 title went to Jaskirat Kaur after she overwhelmed Pawandeep Kaur 5-3 4-0 in the final.
