Chandigarh, October 18
A local court extended the police remand of two accused in the TGT scam by one day today.
The accused, Shailesh Kumar and Shiv Bahadur, were produced in the court and the police had demanded their further remand for further interrogation.
Having faced flak for failing to file chargesheet in 90 days in the JBT scam, the UT police had arrested the duo on October 13.
The two were earlier granted default bail as a chargesheet was not presented against them in time. — TNS
