Bag snatched at gunpoint

CHANDIGARH: A bag containing documents was snatched from a businessman by two motorcycle-borne miscreants at gunpoint at Sarangpur on Wednesday night.

A bag containing documents was snatched from a businessman by two motorcycle-borne miscreants at gunpoint at Sarangpur on Wednesday night.

The victim, Subhash, who owns a tiles shop in Sarangpur, was heading towards his car after closing the shop when the miscreants came on a Splendor bike and threatened him with a gun.

The accused snatched the bag from him and sped away towards Mullanpur.

The victim tried to chase the accused. However, they managed to escape. The victim submitted a complaint at the Sarangpur police station, following which a case of robbery has been registered.

Sources said the incident was caught in CCTV cameras. However, the footage is not clear.
