Vividh Mariya and Bhuvan Aggarwal of Class XI of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 27, Chandigarh, brought laurels to the school by winning the first position at the CBSE national-level science exhibition under the sub-theme 'Transport and Communication'. Their model 'Doctor Driving: A Safety and Security System for Cars' was acknowledged and appreciated by the panel of judges. The working model made by the students features fingerprint scanning, license scanning system, alcohol detection, emergency braking functionality, thermal scanners and eye blink rate detection, a cost-effective and simple way of ensuring the safety of drivers.

Stepping Stones, Chandigarh

Stepping Stones Senior Secondary School, Sector 37, Chandigarh, bagged the second prize at the CBSE national-level science exhibition under the sub-theme 'Transport and Communication'. Rahul Kaushal and Uday Madan of Class X won the second place in science exhibition. Their project was a working model of a MAGLEV (Magnetic Levitation Train) train.

Kundan Int’l School, Chandigarh

Kundan International School, Sector 46, Chandigarh, celebrated its annual sports meet with great gaiety and enthusiasm. The programme commenced with the school band escorting the dignitaries. A spectacular march past enthralled the spectators. It was a delight to see the excitement with which children challenged themselves to attempt variety of races such as sprint race, zig zag race, obstacle race, lemon and spoon race etc.

Tiny tots of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, participated in the annual show 'Down the Rabbit Hole' with zeal and zest. The journey of a little girl Alice, who goes on an adventure trip to Wonderland, was depicted through a blend of dance and drama. Dressed in beautiful costumes, the little ones cast a magical spell on the audience with their mesmerising performance.

Aman, the budding pugilist of PML SD Public School, Sector 32, Chandigarh, has outshined in the Khelo India School Games organised at New Delhi by clinching bronze medal.

Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula

Students of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, proved their calibre by winning the first position at the 'Youth Zest' held at Banyan Tree School, Chandigarh. The team of Arnav and Parv Aggarwal (Class VIII), which bagged the first position in the event 'Techmania', exhibited working model in science showing automatic street light system and hydraulic bridge. In 'Wartech' social science model exhibition, Daksh and Arnav secured the first position. Aradhaya of Class VI won second position in 'Ship Wreck'. The overall 'Best School' trophy was bagged by Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula.

St. Xavier’s, Chandigarh

Staff and students of St. Xavier's Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, celebrated the festival of Mahashivaratri with religious fervour and gaiety. A special assembly was conducted, which began with the chanting of sacred mantra, "Om Namah Shivaya." A dance was performed by students of junior class. TNS
