Body found on highway

An unidentified body was found under mysterious circumstance near a toll plaza on the Ambala-Chandigarh highway here today.

According to the police, they got information that a body of a man was lying near the toll plaza in Lalru following which the police team reached the spot and took the body into their possession.

The police said the deceased appeared to be a migrant labourer. 

Nothing could be found from the clothes of the deceased, the police said.

The body of the deceased had been kept for identification at the Civil Hospital, Dera Bassi, for the next 72 hours.
