An 11-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a Class IX boy here, the police said on Tuesday.
On a complaint of the victim’s mother, an FIR was registered against the accused at the Chandimandir police station under the POCSO Act.
The victim’s mother had submitted that she had gone for work at Kalka and her daughter was alone at home when their neighbour, a 15-year-old boy, raped her daughter.
The incident was two months old, but was narrated by the victim to her mother now.
