Thieves targeted a locked house in Ratpur Colony in Pinjore and decamped with cash and jewellery worth Rs 3 lakh.
House owner Sandeep Singh said on Saturday night, he along with his family members, had gone to his in-laws house in the same colony. When they returned the next morning, lock was found broken and the entire house was ransacked. Thieves took away gold jewellery, an LED TV and other items, he said. On the complaint of Sandeep Singh, the Pinjore police have started a probe in the case. — TNS
