CHANDIGARH: The second day of the Chrysanthemum Show witnessed a huge footfall at Terraced Garden, Sector 33, here today. Gardeners of the Horticulture Department, MC, have made a boat, camel, peacock, cow, giraffe, lion and several other animals and birds using flowers.

Chandigarh, December 9

The second day of the Chrysanthemum Show witnessed a huge footfall at Terraced Garden, Sector 33, here today. Gardeners of the Horticulture Department, MC, have made a boat, camel, peacock, cow, giraffe, lion and several other animals and birds using flowers. 

Last year, the show witnessed more than 264 varieties of Chrysanthemum. This year, 266 varieties of Chrysanthemum are being displayed. All these varieties are grown and well groomed at MC nursery. In this show, various government, semi-government institutions and various private growers are taking part in the competitions of flowers grown in pots. Prizes will be given to the winners of best three exhibits in each category on December 10 at 3 pm.
