Dr Samman Verma made his parents and institute proud by achieving 7th rank in the medical entrance examination of the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) held this month. Around 50,000 doctors appeared for this nationwide exam and competed for various specialties. Dr Samman Verma attributes his success to his teachers and his hard work and patience. Dr Verma is from Patiala. He was also grateful to his parents and mentor Dr Sumer Sethi for motivating him for the preparation of the exam.
